Gus,   you just tell him Wart says to call you gus  :-)    I admit I understand where he's coming from.  When I use to get the applications (at first) I really wasn't sure how formal I should be.  Generally I heard back from the person saying what they preferred.
Sometimes not so politely either  ;-0
Looking forward to seeing your posts in the Fellowship area.  Appreciate your joining gus.

::)Gus, if you have been around awhile, you will know that I will say never say always or never say never.  I have been involved in this hobby/lifestyle for more than 30 years.  If you have a time period you like, just don't be using a star wars outfit.  I am one of those guys that doesn't like the short short waist coat  or what ever one would prefer to call it.  I prefer the longer type.  Does that make me wrong?  Huh

Not at all! I am just saying that as of yet I haven't seen any mention of a Gentlemen's Frock Coat in buckskin... Saying it never happened is unlikely at best, but nor would I dare say it was common  either! Wink
