Well, here we are in Ceasar's Creek Pioneer Village, for the first annual COHT Ohio Branch Meeting Trek, Feb 2004. From left to right is Dave McGee (Ohio State Rep), Jim McClure or Blackie (OH COHT),(OH COHT), Mark Wetzel or Weaser (OH COHT), Ken Ashcraft (OH COHT), Russel Hammond or Preacher Mike (OH COHT), Dave Felter or Hermit (OH COHT), Shelley (CCPV and our hostess), Jon Hagee (COHT KY State Rep). We gathered and discussed up coming treks and events, and COHT issues. Come join us next time. There is ole yeller again. This Weaser's place. Who tracked the dirt in!!! Looks like ole Weaser means business if Preacher don't stay out of the kitchen. Thats Weaser on the left, me in the back ground with Blackie, and thats Preacher Mike's back side there looking at you. Now there is a handsome trio? At the sound of the bell, jump in and wash the kettle. Well if you did not find the previous three handsome, doubt you'll find me any better. Yep, that's me. Dave McGee, COHT Ohio State Rep. Thanks for taking a look at our photo album. Don't worry Hermit (Dave Felter), the coffee will start boiling sooner or later. Hermit here won the Governor's Award for Ohio. You sure I am not the handsomest one here? After all, Bushwacker was unable to be here? You sure? Thats Ken Ashcraft in the back, hitting the trail. That is one talented musician, check out his recordings folks. There he is, we caught him red handed. Preacher Mike getting into the food box, AGAIN! Glad you made it Preacher Mike. What does one do after being the sole survivor of the tactical? Why, make breakfast for all the dead folks. Great job Weaser, and thanks for all the cooking. Notice, most of the pics of Weaser, are of him cooking. Here we have a honored guest, Jon Hagee (COHT KY State Rep). Jon was recognized for his continued support of the Ohio COHT through events and the website. We always enjoy seeing you Jon, thanks for coming. The WV Rep and a PA COHT member were also recognized but were unable to attend due to rescheduling conflicts of one of their events, we appreciate their support as well. The men look hungry, better feed them Weaser! On the left we have Blackie (OH COHT), than Weaser (OH COHT), than that's Jon Hagee (KY COHT) warming over the fire, that is Tom (CCPV) with his back to us, and that is Leon (from KY) to the right. No wonder you had a headache Blackie, the sun is going down and you two are still discussing. It was great having you and everyone there, thanks for coming my friends. Home sweet home for Ken Ashcraft (OH COHT). Ken, we all thank you for your music you gave of yourself, and your attendance. We look forward to meeting again. Thank you. Look, Weaser been hanging around Wart too much, he is having his picture taken in the smoke. Get out of the smoke Weaser! That's Blackie (OH COHT) to the left, Weaser (OH COHT) in the smoke, Preacher Mike (OH COHT) bending over to help Ken Ashcraft (OH COHT) on the ground. Looks like that might be Hermit standing in the far back ground at his camp. Here is Ken Ashcraft (OH COHT), making supper for himself at his camp. We all donated prizes those that came and Ken here got himself a fine new box.

I started a annual meeting for the Ohio Branch of the COHT, this being the first one held. It was held at the CCPV during a Maple Syrup Festival and the COHT members help demonstarte and the process as well as talk to the public. We held a tactical of which Weaser was the sole survivor... good work Weaser. Jon said he would get the Ohio guys next year. We had lots of food and good things to share. The meeting was to discuss ideas and situations in the COHT, and plan events. Some recognition was rewarded to those memebrs that really supported our efforts through contributions and time spent planning. Ken Ashcraft treated to some of the most beautiful music and song that I have ever had. If you get a chance to pick up one of his CD's... I recomend that you do. I hope to see you there next spring at our next meeting.
