Here we find a troop of the Ohio COHT at Wild Cat Hollow, in the Wayne National Forest; for a squirrel hunt trek. From left to right its me Dave McGee (OH/IN-Rep,COHT), Blackie or Jim McClure, Hermit or Dave Felter, standing in the back is Bushwacker or Tom Stanek, Josiah or Mark Barrel. Blackie, gettin the kettle ready for that Moose stew. Bushwacker and Josiah talking something over.
Here we are, bellies are full of Moose stew. waiting for the hot butter rum, as we tell tales of our quest for the tree rats.
Josiah, in front of his woodsman camp. Looks great. don't forget to make the bed. Here is Hermit, infront of his camp. lookin spiffy there Hermit. Here is Blackie, resting in the heat wave of the day. We discovered one LARGE barefooted print in the dirt, the next morning. Larger than any of ours in camp. Could it be Big Foot?

This trek/hunt was done as a base camp. We hunted out of camp and some trekked scouting for a deer season location. It was hot, and the only one to get a Squirrel was ole Dave Felter "Hermit". Its rumored it was a road kill though since he was found walking down a gravel road to get back to camp. Just kidding with you Hermit, congrats on the only game taken. We didn't get much game, but we sure did feast well on that Moose Stew that ole Bushwacker and Blackie cooked up. Wild Cat Hollow is in the Wayne National Forest of Ohio.
