Well here we have the Ohio Branch of the COHT, at the Fall Rendezvous at Prickett's Fort. Let's go on in the gate. Now here we are inside the fort, at the back of the yard near the bunk house. looking back at the gate we just came through. Here we are at the community fire pit, in the yard. The gate is at our back, and we are looking at one of two main cabins. This one being used as the Gun Smith Shop and Trade Store. Note the use of gutters only above the doors. Weaser, you loose your mug there on the bench? Just what do the ladies have cooking? I can smell it now. mmmmmm! Here we are, back at the gate and looking across the yard to the potters shack. It was discovered that all the bricks used to build the house, were made and fired right on the site. Here we are looking out the door to the Gun Shop across the yard to a few of the cabins. Here we are looking out from between the two main cabins, seeing who or what is coming through the forts gates. Who's out there? Here we are back at the cabin Preacher Mike and myself stayed in earlier in the year. Behind the main living cabin. Note how every inch of space within the fort was utilzed. looks like the ladies of the cabin will have some new dippin gourds for the fort. Here we are at the back of the two main cabins, between the two bunk houses. We get a look at the Black Smith's area and the yard, as well as the Potter's shack. This is the side of the main cabin, the side gates are to the right. Again, note the use of the area with the gardens for easy use. Looks like Weaser is not in camp, must be out trekking. Looks like some Indians are making their way into the fort, as we look across the yard, to the front gate. That is the Gun shop and trade store to the right, one of two main cabins. Another look up between the two main cabins from the back, allows a better look at the Black Smith's area. From the Gun Shop door, we get a great view of the yard and Potter's shack.

Prickett's Fort is in Fairmont, West Virginia. Its is a great place to visit, volunteer and attend a event like this one. In the past the fort has held differant events this time of the year, but this year they are trying something new... a Fall Rendezvous. The atmosphere around the fort is always great and relaxing, and the food superb.
