Dave McGee (OH/IN-Rep, COHT) and Maggie and Monte Pearson (WVMLA Members) get together and travel the local area around thier homes demonstrating the 18th Century to audiences. Here Dave's son Trevor is helping out as they talk to children of a local 4-H and daycare groups, in the Pioneer Village that has been restored at the Beaver Creek State Park in Ohio, outside of Calcutta and East Liverpool. They speak to retirement homes, schools, churches, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts as well as any others.
Beaver Creek State Park can be accessed off of route 7 in Columbiana County. It is home of a restored pioneer village of a Grist Mill, church, school, Blacksmith shop, and a few cabins. But its main attraction is one of the last remaining working locks of the canal system that used to flow through Ohio.
