The Mansker's Station 2002 photos were taken around 8AM on Sunday morning. The weather was overcast with fog which added to the general atmosphere. The shots were hurried due to apprehension of taking them before the public arrived as well as trying to not miss the period correct church service (the last shot). I attempted to frame my shots so as to avoid cars and modern houses in the background, etc. Most of the shots were of the camps around the fort. I found the most interesting area to be where the Barker's animals were tied up at the fort wall. There were several Kentucky/CoHT trekkers camped in this area.

I was using a digital Kodak 260 camera, 3X Zoom on a moderate resolution setting using no flash. These photos have been reduced for the web, but not cropped. I do have higher rez copies on request. I am available on a limited basis for photography work.

Take care,
